Why being a personal trainer is the best job

I work as a personal trainer at the local gym. I love my job because I can really make a difference in people’s lives. Frequently I will get people coming to me who are desperate. They are overweight and have tried all sorts of diet programs. They can’t stick to anything and end up leaving any gym they are at. I make it my mission to get these people in shape, motivated and feeling good about working out everyday. Anytime a person starts working out it is awful. You are sore in new areas and taking time out of your day to work out seems terrible. But, once you get over that hurdle, working out is addicting. It is a good thing to do daily. Working on muscle training, cardio, balance and coordination has more benefits than simply looking good. What about slipping on ice, or tripping over a curb? People out of shape can’t catch their body weight and get seriously hurt. How about people who are overweight have higher blood pressure, heart issues and joint pain? Getting in shape is good for overall health and safety. Also my students get a social element out of their fitness class too. I do a lot of whole group instruction and everyone gets to interact with each other. Some people are new to the area or they have trouble making friends. Sometimes I get senior citizens that are alone in life. It is good for them to get out and about with other people of similar mindsets. It is great seeing my students gain more confidence and happiness in life.
